Two new interns from a university south of the one I attend arrived today! They share my same major (though a different specialization). The one I mentioned from Austria also is part of a similar program at her school back in Europe.
When you share the same stage of life and are having similar experiences in the classroom with a stranger, suddenly she is a stranger no longer.
I was dreaming of getting a glimpse of God raising up people native to this country for His work. I was not expecting also to get to see how He is moving in the hearts of those in the States and in Europe, as well.
He is awesome in His sense of scope.
Why am I taken by surprise?
:)
By the way, today...*drumroll*...I ate at Jo's today!
Hahaha! I can already feel the jealousy emanating out of a few of you!
(Jo's is the place that serves the best rotisserie chicken in the whole world; before I came, I uploaded a picture of it in the post "anticipation--in color," for those of you who are feeling a little lost at the moment. It's worth the plane ticket just to eat here!)
Thank you again for your comments and your prayers!
